When you use Ever Clean for the first time, give your cat time to get used to it. You can put a thin layer of Ever Clean sand on top of the cat litter you used before. Once your cat is used to the new sand, empty the box completely and fill it with Ever Clean.
Cleaning the box
Remove lumps and solid debris daily and throw them in the trash. Do not throw waste in the toilet bowl. Add as much clean sand as you have removed it. Ever Clean does not compost.
