Exo Terra Crested Gecko Habitat Kit Large The Exo Terra Crested Gecko Habitat Kit has been perfectly designed by European Herpetologist after an expedition in January 2013 to New Caledonia to study these fascinating geckos in the natural habitat. To celebrate there work they have designed a kit with everything you need to create the perfect crested gecko habitat. The Exo Terra Kit Comes with a natural background based on the lichen and moss covered banyan tree trunks found in there natural habitat, a unique totem ornament which reflects the spirit of the indigenous Kanak People who build these totems all over New Caledonia. This totem ornament also serves as a hide, water and food cup holder. Along with all this also included is two natural bird's nest fern decorative plant, analog thermometer, analog hygrometer and plantation soil substrate. The Exo Terra Terrarium has many features such as the perfectly designed mesh screen top allowing UVB penetration whilst allowing excellent ventilation. The screen is removable allowing easy access for maintenance and cleaning. The back of the screen also has 5 fully closable wire inlets to allow effortless access for Other Exo Terra equipment. Other features include high set lockable doors for extra room for deep substrate or water if your keeping amphibians and allow room for products such as Exo Terra's Reptile Dens. The double doors open idepentently and allow easy access. The Exo Terra Terrariums have a raised bottom base to allow room for Exo Terra's Heat mats although Crested Geckos are usually fine at room temperature it is advisable to use a rainforest heat mat to ensure the temperate remains stable .
